Magpie

Privacy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

The short version: we don’t use advertising trackers. We use the details you share to respond to your enquiry, with security checks to protect the contact form. Details below.

Magpie Labs Ltd ("Magpie", "we", "us") takes privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect when you use madebymagpie.co.uk or contact us, and what we do with it.

Who we are

Magpie Labs Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, trading as Magpie. You can contact us at [email protected].

What we collect

This website does not use analytics cookies, advertising pixels or third-party fonts. Cloudflare hosts the site and processes standard request information, including IP address and user agent, for security and performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits, referring sites and page performance without analytics cookies. We use these reports to understand how the website is being used; contact form details are not sent to Web Analytics. When you open the contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks browser and request signals to help prevent automated spam.

When you email us at [email protected]: we receive your email address, name (if provided) and the contents of your message. We use this only to reply and, if we go on to work together, to deliver that work.

When we work together: we'll collect whatever information is needed to deliver the project. This is handled under a separate agreement and is kept confidential.

When you use the contact form: we collect your name, email address, message and any optional organisation or phone details you provide. The enquiry is stored in our CoLab enquiry system, hosted by Supabase, and an email notification is sent to us using Resend. The record includes which of our websites you contacted. We use these details to respond and manage the conversation.

Legal basis

Under UK GDPR, we process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interest (to respond to your enquiry) and, where relevant, contractual necessity (to deliver a project you've engaged us for).

Sharing

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. Our website and enquiry services use Cloudflare, Supabase, Resend and our email provider to host the site, protect the form, store enquiries and deliver messages. Access to enquiry information is limited to the people handling it. If we use additional tools to deliver client work, we’ll explain them in the relevant project agreement.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records and emails: kept while we're actively in conversation, and for up to 24 months afterwards in case you get back in touch. Then deleted.

Client project data: kept for the duration of the engagement and for 6 years after final invoice, to meet UK tax record-keeping requirements. Then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for security checks, rather than behavioural advertising.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
